Security Data Leakage 2007
Thursday 21st June, 2007
28 Portland Place, London
Free Exclusive Invitation Only Event for IT Decision Makers.
On the 19th March 2007, Symantec released its latest Internet Security
Threat Report, which revealed that the rise in data breaches, data theft
and targeted attacks can lead to financial gain by organized crime.
In the last six months, threats that could export user data, such as user
names and passwords, accounted for 62% of threats to confidential information
- up 38%. Moreover, the theft or loss of a computer or data storage media
such as USB memory keys made up to 54% of all identity theft-related data
breaches.
Enterprises need to ensure appropriate security measures are in place
to prevent an attacker from gaining access to their confidential information,
causing financial loss, harming valuable customer and damaging their reputation.
Join Symantec and Accenture at this half-day event and learn how
to reduce data leaks, identify network vulnerabilities and
keep mobile device data leakage threats at bay.
During this event, there will also be an opportunity to have a 1-2-1 discussion
and technology demonstrations with Symantec experts.
All
attendees will be sent a complimentary copy of Symantec’s
latest Internet
Security Threat Report XI which was published in March 2007.
